Itinerary

Arrive at Casablanca International Airport, where we will meet you and begin your Casablanca Tours 10 Days. Drive first to Casablanca, then to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. You may see the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the world’s biggest mosque outside of Mecca, and enjoy the Cornish shoreline. After that, we’ll go to Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before settling into your Medina riad. Finally, spend the night at a riad – bed and breakfast.

After breakfast, you will leave your riad and travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Meknes is another significant imperial city in Morocco. In fact, it is recognized as the Ismaili capital of Morocco. There is the famous gate Bab Mansour, as well as the Sahrij Souani Bassin. The Mulay Ismail Mausoleum is also close by. After lunch, continue to Volubilis, a Roman city with wonderfully preserved original mosaics, a Roman Road, and a city plan. We will stop at the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a picture opportunity as you travel through the Moroccan countryside. Then, towards the end of the day, you’ll arrive in Fes and check into your riad in the Medina. Financing

Begin your 10-day trip from Casablanca with an exploration excursion around the Medina, where you will discover numerous hidden gems known only to the locals. For starters, Fes has been Morocco’s capital for almost 350 years and is home to the Institution of Al Karaouine, the world’s oldest operating university. As a result, your guided tour will take you to the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Tanneries. Following lunch, you will visit the exterior of the Royal Palace and go through the Mellah, Jerusalem’s famous Jewish district. You will be able to see one of Morocco’s few surviving synagogues. Your Fes trip also includes a short visit to a prominent pottery factory, followed by a magnificent panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Finally, we’ll go out for a drink at the new spot in the afternoon. Your riad will be your temporary residence for the night.

After breakfast in your riad, you will depart towards Merzouga desert through the Caravan roads in the southeast. On this journey, you’ll get a peek of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Then, over the Middle Atlas Mountains, halt in Morocco’s biggest Cedar forest, where you may see Barbarian apes. Travel across the wide open high desert after lunch, noting how the scenery changes as you reach Er Rachidia, giving glimpses of the desert. After that, you’ll drive through the beautiful Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, which is well-known for date farming. This is where Morocco’s current reigning royal family, the Alaouite dynasty, was founded. Finally, you’ll arrive in Merzouga towards the end of the day, where you’ll be welcomed with a drink of mint tea before settling into your riad. Half-Board is a word used to describe a kind of board that is half the size of a full-size board.

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to see what might be the most beautiful sunrise of your life. You’ll walk back to Merzouga village. Along the journey, don’t miss the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which vary with the light as the day passes. After breakfast and a wash in your riad, you’ll set off for the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges. Because they are Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges. After lunch in the gorge, we’ll travel into the Dades Valley, where you’ll witness magnificent sandcastles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Finally, we’ll spend the night in a nice guesthouse.

After breakfast, we’ll travel through the Dades Valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The Way of the Thousand Kasbahs route through Dades Valley provides many chances to take some of the finest photos of your trip. We’ll make a detour at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city,” to buy rosewater, which will keep your linen smelling fresh long after your trip is finished. Sahara Tours will continue your 10-day trip from Casablanca to Marrakech through the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains of the 18th century, built it. The Kasbah is now home to a large number of Glaoui people. Following that, your 10-day trip from Casablanca will continue via the magnificent Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) through the High Atlas Mountains, before landing at your Marrakech hotel. Finally, spend the night in a Medina riad.

So, following breakfast at the riad, you’ll go on a city discovery trip. On this 10-day trip from Casablanca, you will visit the Gnawa people, who were once slaves from Sudan, and learn about their music and way of life. You may also visit Rissani’s souk, a historic village that was the birthplace of Morocco’s royal dynasty and a meeting point for caravans traveling all the way to Tombouctou in Mali. There are many hooded males and veiled ladies in this place. Back to Merzouga for a break before mounting your camel and exploring the Merzouga sand-sea with an expert camel guy in the afternoon. Then you will spend the night at our desert camp, where you will enjoy your 10-day trip from Casablanca.

After breakfast in the riad, go on a guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s “Red City.” As a consequence, your guide will ensure that you see all of the historical and cultural attractions, such as the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs, the beautiful Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Finally, conclude the morning by walking through the medina alleyways, seeing the different craftsmen at work before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. Lunch will be served at a restaurant near the square, followed by a visit to the Majorelle gardens and a brief tour of Gueliz, Marrakech’s new city. After supper, walk around the plaza, where magicians, storytellers, toothpullers, and food sellers will keep you amused. You will finally spend the night at your riad.

After breakfast in your riad, you will depart for Essaouira, a Moroccan seaside city. After a 2-and-a-half-hour journey to begin seeing the capital, The Skala Fortress will be your first visit, where you will witness craftsmen carving Thuya wood. In addition, walk through the alleyways of the medina to view hundreds of handicrafts. Surfers from all over the globe visit this “City of Winds.” Indeed, Essaouira has been influenced by a variety of civilizations, notably the Portuguese occupancy, which left its imprint on much of the city’s architecture. It is, nevertheless, a little hamlet steeped in tradition. Due to its size, as well as its unique blue doors and whitewashed walls. You’ll even visit a women’s Argan oil cooperative. They extract the oil, which has culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. As a consequence, lunch will be served the Moroccan way: fresh fish will be “boiled to order” at the fish market. Finally, in the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech. That day marks the end of a 10-day trip from Casablanca, with an overnight stay at your riad.

After an early breakfast in your riad, we will take you to Casablanca/Marrakech airport for your journey back home. Your ten-day trip from Casablanca ends at the airport.
