On a viewing trip of Casablanca, Morocco's commercial city, we visit the outside of the Hassan II Great Mosque, one of the Islamic world's finest structures, followed by a brief stroll down the corniche... depending on the time, we'll visit various sites. Depart for Rabat, Morocco's administrative capital. In Rabat, we'll see the magnificent Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. We will leave for Fes medina late in the afternoon, passing via Meknes and perhaps stopping to visit Bab Mansour, which was built at the end of the 17th century by Moulay Ismail and is regarded as "the Moroccan Versailles" then. We will go to Fez and check into your accommodation.

After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up and travel to Ifrane, a Moroccan-Swiss style village, and then to Azrou, where we will stop at Morocco's biggest cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains. The Barbarian monkeys may be seen here. After lunch in Midelt, we'll drive to Merzouga, stopping for a panoramic view of Ziz Valley. After arriving at the Merzouga Sahara desert late in the afternoon, we'll go on a camel journey to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes. You'll spend the night in our desert camp, where you'll have your supper. The camp is well prepared, and the Berber people provide excellent cuisine, music, and singing.

We suggest that you get up early in the morning to see the sunrise, and then you will eat breakfast at the camp and take a shower. Then we'll travel to Tinerhir and Todra Canyons, Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges. After lunch, we'll continue on to Dades Valley, passing via Dades Gorge, where you'll witness magnificent castles and incredible rock formations. - Dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

We travel across the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate after breakfast. The route through the Dades Valley is known as the Way of the Thousand Kasbahs, and it offers many picture possibilities. We'll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, also known as "Pink City," before continuing on to Ouarzazate, where we'll see the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. Continue to Marrakech through Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Built by El Glaoui, one of the last Berber leaders of the 18th century, your trip continues via the magnificent Tizi n'Tichka (2260m) across the High Atlas Mountains, before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon, drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech, and the conclusion of our Casablanca desert tours 4 days.
