Itinerary

Casablanca Tours 14 Days started With pick you up from Casablanca's airport and begin our trip by seeing the Hassan II Mosque. It features the world's highest minaret and is the third biggest mosque; it took 7 years to construct and can accommodate 25,000 people for prayer. With zellig mosaics, ornately carved cedar wood, polished marble, and glass, the workmanship is outstanding. We travel from Casablanca to Rabat, Morocco's capital. The Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah may be seen from here. In the afternoon, you may check into your hotel in the center of the Medina.

After breakfast, we'll take the road to Fes, passing via Meknes and Volubilis. Meknes, Morocco's Ismaili capital, is one of the country's most important imperial cities. You will visit the renowned gate, Bab Mansour, as well as the Sahrij Swani Basin and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, we continue on to Volubilis, a formerly crucial and important Roman city founded in 25 B.C. Some of the ancient mosaics are still in extremely excellent condition, and excavation in this vast UNESCO site is currently continuing. We carry on to Fes through the slopes of the Rif Mountains after Volubilis. We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check into our hotel in the center of the historic Medina.

Today, with the assistance of a professional guide, you will explore Fes, Morocco's oldest Imperial City, which was established in the eighth century by Moulay Idriss II. You will visit the Medina of Fes el-Bali, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site for almost 30 years and has over 9000 streets in a car-free zone; it is a maze of mystery and fascination. The Attarine Koranic school, known as a Medersa, is one of the most magnificent in Fes; we will also visit Nejjarine and Moulay Idriss' Mausoleum.

We will travel by the Quaraouiyine Mosque, which is part of the Quaraouiyine University, the world's oldest, which was established in 880 by a woman.

After lunch, we'll go to the Pottery Cooperative to see how the complex zellig tiles and hand-painted ceramics are produced. Following that, we will travel to El Borj, where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the whole ancient Medina. We'll go out for a drink in the afternoon in the new city.

We'll depart Fes after breakfast to begin our journey south. The trip from Fes provides an incredible immersion in the variety of Moroccan scenery. The route south leads you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, via Little Switzerland, to the alpine villages of Azrou and Ifrane, which are covered in snow during the winter, and finally to Midelt, where you will spend the night.

We will continue our trip to the Sahara Desert after breakfast. We'll drive to Merzouga through Errachidia and Erfoud, passing over the magnificent Tizi n'Talghemt pass and the Ziz Gorge, with views of the High Atlas region. You'll note how the landscape has changed and will continue to change as we approach closer to the desert. We'll stop for lunch in Errachidia and experience some traditional Berber hospitality. Our journey south takes us through the beautiful Ziz Valley, where we will stop for photographs at a scenic overlook. As you pass through palm oasis and adobe settlements, you'll realize you've entered another planet as the Sahara draws closer. When we arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon, we will be greeted with a drink of mint tea before settling into our accommodations.

After breakfast, we'll go out in the 4x4 to explore the region, meet some of the people, and learn about various ways of life. The hamlet of Khamlia is populated by descendants of Sudanese slaves who narrate tales about their ancestors via Gnaoua music and songs. The Merzouga Lake, which attracts a seasonal flock of flamingos, is not distant from this town. There will be time to look at local Berber handcrafts for sale, which is an excellent chance to purchase from locals. After lunch and a little break, you will prepare to go on a camel ride to explore the sand sea with the assistance of an expert camel guide. The Erg Chebbi dunes are the biggest in this area of Morocco, and the quiet that can be discovered as you walk through the red golden dunes is quite unique. Riding a camel to your desert camp and spending the night beneath the stars in the company of nomads is an experience you will never forget. You will spend the night in a typical Berber nomad tent after supper and some music and singing.

We usually suggest waking up early to see the beauty of the dawn, and then returning by camel to the hotel for breakfast and refreshment. Our journey continues as we leave the desert for Rissani and Erfoud, where we visit workshops where marble and fossils are cleaned and sculpted into beautiful pieces. We travel to Tinghir and then to the Todra Gorge, where we will have lunch and enjoy the canyon's 300-metre-high sheer cliffs and crystalline pure water as we stroll along the river's bank. After lunch, we'll travel through the Dades Valley and into the Dades Gorge to view the incredible rock formation known as "the monkey fingers" because to the patterns in the degraded terrain. You will also visit the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Youl. We spend the night at a small motel with a view of the Dades Valley.

After breakfast, you will drive through the Dades Valley to Kelaat M'gouna and Ouarzazate. As the route is flanked with rose-colored adobe kasbahs, the journey through the Dades Valley offers many chances to capture some of your finest photographic pictures of the trip. Today, you will get the chance to meet Berber Nomads who live in caves, followed by a visit to the lush Rose valley, which is home to the fragrant Damascus rose, which is grown here and processed into the world-famous rose oil. We'll make a stop at Kelaat M'gouna, the rose city, where you can buy rosewater and other items to keep your clothing smelling fresh long after your trip is done. We next go to Skoura to see Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved kasbah in the region. After a short walk down the valley, we'll stop for a pleasant lunch break at a restaurant with a panoramic view of the whole valley. We travel from Skoura to Ouarzazate, Africa's Hollywood, whose location and stunning surroundings have attracted and continue to draw numerous world-class movie makers. You may opt to tour the studios, which include artifacts from movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator, and The Last Temptation of Christ. The overnight stay will be at a local riad in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we depart Ouarzazate for Ait Benhaddou, a key fortified town on the main salt trade route that leads to Timbuktu. Caravans traveling between the Sahara and Marrakech utilized it as a layover. It is currently one among Morocco's numerous UNESCO historic monuments, as well as a popular setting for film filmmakers to utilize in their productions.

We cross the Ouarzazate road again and go east to Taliouine, the saffron capital, where you may visit one of the Saffron co-operatives. If your visit coincides with the harvest, which typically takes place in October/November, you will be able to meet the Berber people and their families as they pick the beautiful flowers in the fields.

The next destination is 16th century Taroudant, often known as Little Marrakech, which we should arrive at in the afternoon. Here you will view the ramparts and stroll through the Medina's tiny alleyways. It features medina walls comparable to Marrakech and is influenced by the Saadian dynasty. You will be staying in a local hotel or riad.

Grand Tour Of Morocco 14 Days Started today with leaving the mountains and go towards the Atlantic coast, where we will see the beautiful medina of Essaouira. On the route, we'll stop at Agadir, a resort city that was a popular tourist destination for many years. After lunch and a stroll along the Promenade, we'll take the coast route to Essaouira. The coastline journey provides breathtaking views, vast stretches of unspoiled sand, surf zones, and rough natural areas teeming with plants and wildflowers. This area is also home to Argan trees, and goats who like climbing these trees to obtain food may sometimes be seen extended on their hind legs or even up in the branches. We arrive at Essaouira in the afternoon after numerous stops along the coast. The overnight stay will be in a riad in the Medina.

After breakfast, we will begin Grand Tour Of Morocco 14 Days of this charming medina. Some of the European civilizations that have inhabited this fortress town have left their imprint; the Portuguese with their white washed buildings, the Spanish with their cannons along the fortified seawalls, and the Jewish in the merchants' section of the medina; the Mellah. The fishing port, with its brilliant blue vessels, is a hive of activity, and some unusual fish may be seen at the auctions. This is an artists' and craftsmen' haven, with galleries and tiny studios brimming with local artwork. Thuya woodwork, along with marquetry and inlaid crafts, is a wonderful native specialty.

Music is an important element of the culture here as well; the global festival of Gnawa is held yearly, typically in June, and draws many African and worldwide artists. We may add an additional day to your trip if you want to schedule it to coincide with this event.

Windsurfers call Essaouira home because the strong Atlantic winds make it an excellent location for catching the wind and riding the waves.

Today's supper will be prepared in the Moroccan style, with freshly purchased fish grilled to order over hot embers. You have free time in the afternoon to go about and explore on your own. The overnight stay will be at a riad in the Medina.

After breakfast, we will leave from the coast for the Red City of Marrakech, which has a magnificent background of the High Atlas Mountains, and we will make numerous picture stops along the route. When we arrive in Marrakech, we will check into our hotel in the ancient medina.

After a wonderful supper, we will stroll around the renowned plaza of Jemaa el Fna, where we will be entertained by magicians, storytellers, musicians, and a snake.
